The Palmdale Recycled Water Authority (PRWA) is governed by a five-member Board of Directors. The Board is made up of two members from the Palmdale City Council, two members from the Palmdale Water District Board of Directors, and one public member jointly appointed by the City and Palmdale Water District. All Directors serve one-year, renewable terms.

Directors from the Palmdale City Council receive no compensation. Directors from Palmdale Water District receive compensation as determined by Palmdale Water District. The public member director is compensated $150 per meeting attended and receives reimbursement for training expenses.

MEETINGS

The PRWA Board of Directors meets on the third Monday of each month at 6 p.m. Meetings take place in the Council Chamber at Palmdale City Hall, 38300 Sierra Highway, Suite B, Palmdale, California. PRWA meetings are governed by the Ralph M. Brown Act (Govt. Code Section 54950 et seq, the “Brown Act”), guaranteeing the public’s right to attend and participate.

AGENDAS & MINUTES

The Board conducts or provides authorization to conduct all business and activities of the PRWA consistent with the agreement, documents, operating rules and regulations, and applicable law. All agendas are made publicly available before each meeting, and minutes are posted following Board approval.
